President Obama says his daughters want to meet Lionel Messi

During a trip to Argentina to meet with the nation's new president Mauricio Macri, U.S. president Barack Obama spoke at a state dinner saying that his daughters Sasha and Malia want to meet soccer superstar Lionel Messi, who is from the country.
"But I also wanted to bring my daughters here, so they could see the beauty and the vibrancy of this city," Obama said while in Buenos Aires. "They've already met one famous Argentinean -- His Holiness Pope Francis. Now they want to meet Messi, but I could not arrange that."
Of course, Messi and the Argentina national team are in Chile ahead of Friday's World Cup qualifying match against the reigning Copa America champs, so even if his daughters would have gone, meeting up with the Barcelona star would have been tough to pull off.
Those he personally didn't get to meet Argentina's soccer star, he did get a chance to try Argentina's dance, the tango.
You have to admit, an Obama-Messi picture would have been pretty sweet. But Messi has already taken a picture with someone many would be fine with being the next president of the United States (jokingly, though her Wikipedia paged was reflected to show her as the president after her World Cup final hat trick): USWNT star Carli Lloyd.
